2021, St. Louis — In 2021, myy client came to me with a big challenge, a tight timeframe, and a VERY small budget for the task we had on hand. He wanted to fully furnish and stock his two-bedroom apartment unit in order to rent it out to traveling nurses. The spaces needed to work for any gender, flow through any season, and most importantly feel like home - even if only temporarily.
We started with a blank slate but the plan needed to include everything — fully stocked kitchen, linen closet, storage, entertainment - you name it, we included it. The goal was to create a beautiful space in a functional and cost-conscious way.
Thanks to some lucky Marketplace scores, smart shopping, and a handful of DIY touches, we pulled together a space that feels warm, intentional, and adaptable to any traveling nurse who lands here! Enjoy a few of my favorite rooms below.
